7 Outfits I Wore at NYFW • Imdrewscott

Outfit 1
I knew that I wanted to style this new top from Topman over fashion week but the weather was always pretty cold. On the last day, the weather decided to warm up a little so I decided to style this vintage print top with some wide leg jeans, an olive trench and beanie to keep to keep my head warm.

Outfit 2
I brought along my coveted pair of Gucci jeans as they are 100% a statement piece. To battle the wind chill, I layered a hoodie with a simple black leather jacket and elevated the look with a pair of sleek harness boots. Let’s also not forget to notice the new bag that I picked up in New York by Balenciaga (WOW!).

Outfit 3
Prior to leaving from New York, I was hanging out with my friend Mikayla when I noticed this faux fur coat in her closet.  I knew it had to travel with me to New York and she was kind enough to let me take it and style during the week. Since the jacket is pretty bold in terms of texture, I toned it down with a simple black base and a statement boot and bag because it is fashion week after all.

+ Marc Jacobs – Fur Coat
+ Asos – Black Sweater
+ Acne Studios – Black Cropped Jeans
+ Saint Laurent – Silver Chelsea Boots
+ Balenciaga – Bazar Bag

Outfit 4
I think this look was in my top three for the week. Something about the juxtaposition between sweats and a button down makes my heart happy at the moment. Keeping the entire base a sweatshirt vibe with my initial idea but adding a touch of “tailored” to this look added such a cool look. Black boots finished off the look and really tied together the edgy street vibe I wated to encompass.

+ Vetements – Sweat Pants
+ Zara – Button Down
+ H&M – Sweater
+ Saint Laurent – Harness Boots

I kept this next look pretty simple and safe while still adding bits of interest throughout. My opening ceremony jacket was 100% the focal because why not showcase that varsity vibe. I love the big patches, abstract arms and overall detail of this jacket. OThe shoe laces tied around my socks was another intersting facet that I added last minute in route to a show.

+ Opening Ceremony – Varsity Jacket
+ American Apparel – Hoodie
+ Urban Outfitters – Jeans
+ Adidas – Stan Smith Sneakers

Outfit 6
Again, we have another look that was in my top three for the week. Everything about this outfit just scream Drew to me. A good pair fo wide leg trousers is a must in my wardrobe and this pair from Acne Studios does not disappoint. To keep warm I layered my favorite leather moto and a star knit sweater from Topman. Lastly, bits of detail from the shoes and wallet chain rounded out this dak/light ensemble.

Last but not least we have the outfit that I wore through the NY blizzard. Keeping warm and dry was my main concern and I knew keeping my head covered was the only way to maintain my hair.
