Banyan Tree Mayakoba | Damsel In Dior

The past 5 days have been nothing short of magical. I knew when the Banyan Tree Mayakoba invited me to come stay at their resort a month ago, that I was in for something special. But little did I know just how special the trip would be. If you ever have the chance, or are debating on whether or not to visit Mayakoba, the answer is very simple: Go!

I am sharing a few photos from my trip below, but I really can’t wait to share the video because it shows off the resort a bit more. Mayakoba consists for four different resorts, all of which are pristine and beautiful. They are connected by a river so you can hop resorts via boat, buggy or bike. Even when you go visit another hotel you can charge things back to your room; since they are all connected. I really loved cruising around on the bikes. All of the pathways are perfectly grown in by the natural surroundings. And my favorite thing to do {daily} was read on my hammock. Yes, my villa had a hammock overlooking the river {and it’s own private pool!}. And don’t even get me started on the food! The last night we went to the famous Saffron restaurant where I tasted some of the best Thai I’ve ever had. The restaurant sits on the water and offers the best dining setting I’ve ever experienced. The spa experience was equally divine. I had, hands down, the best massage of all time in a villa that sat above the river.

I could go on for days and days about how wonderful my experience was at Banyan Tree Mayakoba, but I’ll just let you see if for yourself. I’ll be sharing a video in the next day or so. In the meantime, here are a few photos from my trip.

Thank you so much to Banyan Tree Mayakoba for the incredible stay.
