You’ve read about Good Earth Beauty several times on Beauty Info Zone. This is a brand that we are always happy to receive for articles and even happier to use. The Good Earth Beauty site is one that sells brands that are both natural and organic and in addition they’ve created their own brand which has all that goodness. Today we have a few bath and body products to share with you and also a giveaway.
MARCIA is using SHOWER WHIP
Shower Whip is an exfoliating whip that is also a soap. It’s available in 5 scrumptious fragrances: Flower Cart, Pink Lemonade, Chocolate Amour, Coconut Lime, and Lavender Vanilla.
They are available in 12 oz tubs and all contain natural ingredients. I was sent a smaller size to test out. What I’ve found is that it’s gentle enough for both my face and body.
Organic RAW Shea Butter, Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Sunflower Oil, Vegetable Stearic Acid, Vegetable Glycerin, Powdered Volcanic Ash, Vitamin E, Grapeseed Oil, Natural fragrance and essential oils.
Flower Cart is the one I have and the one that our giveaway winner will be receiving. The Good Earth Beauty description says it all: “Flower Cart Scent Description – Filled with the delightful and perfectly balanced aromas of blooming tulips, heavenly frangipani, purple hyacinth, exotic orchid and sweet lily of the valley.”
The granules in the whip are very subtle which I think is best for my skin. I want to add moisture to my skin, not remove it with harshness. It washes off well with either my hands or a wash cloth leaving a subtle scent behind. This isn’t a sugar scrub or a salt scrub, instead I believe the granules are from the powdered volcanic ash. Since it contains shea butter along with oils it’s a good moisturizing scrub that only strips away the dead skin and leaves behind softness.
This is one of those times I really wish our blog had a ‘scratch and sniff’ feature. The super scrumptious strawberry scent for both the Strawberry Margarita Body Wash ($18) and the Strawberry Lip Scrub ($8.25) is out of this world. These can be purchased separately, or – even better – together. The 8 0z. bottle of body wash and a 1 oz. jar of lip scrub set goes for just $20, a really terrific value.
The Strawberry Margarita Body Wash is a very hydrating wash that scrubs up to a soft foam. It has some great ingredients, including organic milk and honey, that make it a very soothing soap that works for sensitive skin. The scent is a combination of fresh lime and ripe strawberry, along with just a hint of lemon. I am not kidding when I say that it smells INCREDIBLY delicious. It isn’t sugary sweet like some strawberry fragrances. It’s more of a grown up take – I guess maybe that’s good since it’s modeled after an alcoholic drink – yet it will still take you back to your childhood and soft summer days picking ripe, juicy strawberries. Another mouth-watering scent can be found in the Strawberry Lip Scrub. It smells and tastes so darn good (the taste I am sure thanks to the sugar that puts the scrub into the product). A tiny scoop of the sugary scrub with a bit of water makes for a delicious exfoliating treatment for lips that leaves them plump and perfect. So yummy I really can’t get enough. All of Good Earth Beauty products have no parabens, pesticides, petroleum, propylene glycol, phthalates, sulfates, or artificial colors, and they are handmade with love in the USA.
